From City Council and School Board meetings to monthly news, high school sports, local concerts, church services, and a wide range of other events, FCTV provides a platform for the stories and voices that matter most to Faribault.
By showcasing local talent, covering important civic discussions, and broadcasting the traditions that bring us together, FCTV strengthens community ties and ensures that everyone has access to transparent, local programming. If you have ideas for shows or events you’d like to see, we invite you to connect with us—FCTV is here to serve you.
FCTV was founded in 1999 as a nonprofit public access station dedicated to providing locally focused programming for the Faribault community. The early efforts were by Linda Cross, Bruce Krinke, Denny Thompson, and Nancy Winjum, alongside countless community supporters, including program producers Julie Fox, Paul Peper, Mike Selly, and Troy Temple.
